New safety features have been added to the 2021 KIA Sonet like ESC, Hill-start assists, Vehicle Stability Management and brake assist as standard from the HTX variant. Previously these features were only available on the HTK+, petrol DCT and GTX+

The other updates are focused on the comfort and convenience of the user like a sunroof from the HTK+ trim, keyless entry and ago, remote engine start on the turbo petrol and diesel models. The Sonet will also get paddle shifters and additional voice commands along with the new KIA logo.

There aren’t any new changes made under the hood to the new Sonet and the same features as the previous year’s Sonet are available on all the variants. The new Sonet will compete against its rivals like the Maruti Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Hyundai Venue, Ford Ecosport, Nissan Magnite etc.
