We have seen a Jaguar Land Rover launching few cars this year like the new Velar, F-pace SVR and the Range Rover Sport SVR. Now the brand has introduced the 2021 Range Rover Evoque in India at Rs. 64.12 lakh ex-showroom. The bookings are open on their company website or you can visit the nearest dealership. They also have confirmed that the delivery of the all-new Range Rover has started across the country. 

What’s new in the Range Rover Evoque 2021? 

The SUV has been updated with new design details like the refreshed interiors with state of the art technology inside the cabin with a host of features. On the outside, the design changes are very subtle. It gets a revised front fascia with a new front bumper, slim grille, flushing door handles. 

On the inside, the Evoque has received Land Rover’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment system. The dashboard has been redesigned with a dual touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster for the driver. For the first time, the SUV gets the Deep Garnet and Ebony colour options for the interiors. The list of features includes the 3D surrounded Camera Cabin, wireless charging with a phone signal booster, Cabin Air Ionisation with a PM2.5 filter and more. 

Coming to engine options, the Evoque is offered with both petrol and diesel engines. A 2.0L 4-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine that makes 204bhp and 430Nm of torque. This is 24bhp more than the predecessor which only made 180bhp. The petrol engine is also a 2.0L 4-cylinder motor making 250bhp and 365nm of torque. Both engines are offered with an all-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard. Unlike the predecessor, the new Evoque petrol version is only offered in the R-Dynamic SE trim and the diesel version is only offered in the S trim. 

According to the President and managing director, Jaguar Land Rover India, Rohit Suri, “ Range Rover has always turned heads with its unique, modernistic and smart design. With the introduction of new interior colourways and latest Land Rover technologies, the new Evoque’s style quotient is even more enhanced and the new Ingenium powertrains make it more powerful and efficient” 

The 2021 Range Rover Evoque is a direct competitor for the Volvo XC60, BMW X3 and the Mercedes GLC. The SUV can be booked at any JLR dealership which is spread over 24 cities in India.
