Lexus, Toyota’s luxury car brand has updated their NX SUV. The 2022 Lexus NX 350h is now available to buy from a starting price of Rs. 64.90 lakh. The SUV is available in 3 trims and bookings have already begun in January this year. The NX will go against the luxury SUV segment models such as Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Audi Q5, BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60.
2022 Lexus NX 350h Price Comparison
[table id=8 /]The entry-level Lexus NX will cost you Rs 64.90 lakh, the mid-level trim Luxury will cost Rs. 69.50 lakh and the top-spec trim F-Sport is priced at Rs. 71.60 lakh. Compared to its rivals the NX is the most expensive.
The 2022 BMW X3 starts at Rs. 59.90 lakh and the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class starts at Rs. 60.99 lakh. The top specs of both the Germans are less expensive than the NX (Of course the M Sport and AMG performance versions are not included).
Powertrain
The Lexus NX is available in 3 different engines set up in some overseas markets. But for India, they only sell the NX in a single 2.5-litre petrol hybrid unit. The petrol motor churns out 192 hp and the additional motors on the front and rear axle produce a combined output of 244 hp. It is mated to a 6-speed e-CVT gearbox with an all-wheel-drive system.

On the outside, the 2022 NX carries forward the old silhouette. The front bumper has minor changes, but the LED DRLs are now integrated into the headlight and is no more a separate unit. The sharper new rear taillights now have an additional light bar spanning the width of the car.
The NX is built on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform which has helped them to reduce 91 kgs of overall weight. The SUV measures 4.66 m in length, 1.86m in width and 1.67 m in height. Compared to the rivals, the NX has the least length and wheelbase of 2.66 m.
Interior
The interior of the NX looks refreshed with all the minor tweaks. The old 10.3-inch infotainment system is now upgraded to 14 inches. The upholstery mostly remains unchanged.
The features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, ventilated seats, electronic folding rear seats, Head-up display, ambient lighting, auto headlights and more. Safety features include Dynamic radar cruise control, 360-degree camera, Lane departure alert, blind-spot monitor system, automatic high beam, brake assist system, ABS, hill-start assist control, tyre pressure monitor and more.
