The launch of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is just around the corner and the spy photos of the car’s premium hatchback have already spread like wildfire online. The Maruti Baleno launches on February 23rd. Official bookings are confirmed to have already started for a token amount of ₹11,000/-. The deliveries are expected to get off the ground in March.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Pricing
The updated version of the premium hatchback will have a singularity from the likes of VW Polo, Honda Jazz, Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20. The price of this version of the Maruti Baleno will increase placing it in the ₹6.50 lakh to ₹10.5 lakh range.
The hatchback is sold only in Maruti’s premium retail brand, Nexa. It is available in 4 different trims – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Performance
The facelifted Baleno uses the 1.2-litre DualJet four-cylinder petrol engine. It does not have a mild-hybrid technology this time to help with torque for mileage improvement pairs. It takes pride in an idle start or stop technology that senses the car while in idle situations and turns it off to save fuel.
The K- Series DualJet VVT engine progresses to bring out a maximum power of 90 PS at 6,000 RPM and 113 nm peak pair at 4,400 RPM.
