Maruti Suzuki has been talking about the second generation Vitara Brezza as a major product launch for the brand. Many test mules of the model were spotted through spy images and videos and such. Recently the car was spied on again which revealed some new and upgraded design details. The 2022 Maruti Brezza is currently in its final testing phase and it will get many new features and changes.
After the facelift of the Brezza, the model is expected to be slightly more expensive in the market. Currently, the Brezza starts from Rs. 7.69 lakh and goes up to Rs. 11.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
At the front, the headlamps and the grille have been upgraded with hints of matte black in between. The model will also have a new bonnet and fenders, and the former has a clamshell design. The grille in front is like slots and there are chrome strips around the logo of Maruti Suzuki. The model also gets endplates that merge with the arches of the wheel.
The sides of the body of the Maruti Brezza do not have many changes, the same structure is followed. Although the wheel arches and doors of the car have body cladding around them. The Brezza will also have a sunroof, which did not exist in the previous version.
The wrap-around tail lamps of the car extend to its tailgate at the rear. The bumper at the rear is new and it gets prominent silver highlights on its skid plate which gives it a nice look. The safety features of the Brezza include 6 airbags, ABS and reverse parking sensors.
2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza: Interior
The upcoming Brezza will have many features and parts that are common to the 2022 Baleno, especially on its interior. The dashboard, steering wheel, instrument cluster, and the new infotainment system are those features shared between the models. Other features of the model include connected car tech and a new head-up display which makes things convenient.
The Maruti Brezza is likely to have the same 1.5-litre BS6 petrol engine, which can generate a power of 105 hp and 138 Nm of torque. It may be connected to a 5-speed manual transmission as well as a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine is expected to be more fuel-efficient in comparison to the previous models.
