Leaked images of the next-generation Mini cooper indicate major exterior and interior styling changes. Mini will manufacture electric version in China by BMWs new joint venture partner Great Wall Motors. Here’s more information about the upcoming 2023 Mini cooper.

2023 Mini Cooper: Interior and Exterior styling

The images came from a production facility in China. The facility housed multiple test mules. However, one car was found without any wrap revealing important design details. The upcoming mini cooper gets similar contours as the existing model. At the front, the Mini gets round headlamps and a closed front grille. The front grille incorporates a camera for a 360-degree view.

2023 Mini CooperMajor changes are made in the rear of the vehicle. Moreover, a new sharp and edgy taillamp replaces the old pill shape taillamp. A chrome bar runs between the taillights. Minor changes have been made to the rear bumper. the black trim with dual exhaust pipe has been changed to a slim and longer one for the EVs.

2023 Mini CooperInside the cabin, the Mini comes with a completely revamped dashboard. The touchscreen infotainment system is now bigger and floating on the dashboard. Also, a heads-up display comes in place of the conventional instrument cluster. Furthermore, overall the interior looks minimal and futuristic. Moreover, the ignition switch and toggle controls continue on to the new model. The car also gets a new two-spoke steering wheel.


The 2023 Mini Cooper will come as both internal combustion and all-electric variants. The ICE unit will incorporate a 3 or 4 cylinder engine. Also, the specs of the BEV will be similar to the Mini Cooper SE coming to the Indian market in the coming days.
