Genesis, a luxury automotive brand of Hyundai has unveiled the G90 luxury sedan. As the Korean automaker is planning to expand its markets and start selling vehicles internationally, we can expect Genesis to reach our shores next year. Here are some details about the new Genesis G90.

The G90 looks pretty similar to its smaller sibling the G80. Genesis calls the aesthetic styling of G90 “Athletic Elegance”. The Long wheelbase and smooth shoulder line give the luxury sedan a premium look. At the front, the G90 gets a large pentagonal grille with a chrome mesh design. The Two-Line LED headlamps create a futuristic look. Also, the G90 features a long clamshell hood that adds to the refined looks of the vehicle.
The side profile is dominated by 20-inch wheels and dual-LED turn signals. Additionally, chrome accents have been used extravagantly to represent luxury. A chrome lining runs along the bottom of the car, and the windows come with a chrome border lining.
At the rear, the sedan has a stylish taillight and two LED bars that extend across the tailgate. The Registration Plate has been moved to the bottom, and the Exhaust tips get a chrome-plated finish.
Genesis G90: Interior
Details about the Cabin and features of the G90 are not available yet. However, the Luxury sedan will come with a premium and comfy interior. The G90 rivals the likes of BMW 7 Series, Lexus LS 500, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and Audi A8. So we can expect the features inside the cabin to be of the same quality.
Powertrain
Genesis is yet to reveal the Engine details of the upcoming G90. However, the current G80 and GV80 features a four-cylinder, 2.5Litre petrol engine that can produce 210hp, and a four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel motor that generates 304hp. The G90 might come with the same engine or a 380hp, V6 turbo petrol unit that is in the US market.
Will the Genesis G90 make its way to India?
Hyundai is on top of its game in the Indian market. And its Luxury subsidiary Genesis has been planning to enter India for quite some time. However, when Genesis makes its way to India, we expect to kick off its venture in the country with an SUV. Also, the G90 will be sold in India eventually.
