Lexus is planning to launch the all-new NX 350h in India on the 9th of March this year. The new car is getting an update in interior and exteriors and also an upgrade in features. The NX 350h will be available in three trims: Luxury, Exquisite and F-Sport. The brand had already started the bookings for the model last month.
Lexus NX Pricing
The new Lexus NX SUV is expected to be priced from Rs.60 lakh onwards. The old-gen NX started from Rs. 58.20 lakh for the Exquisite variant. The Luxury trim starts from Rs.63.20 lakh while the F-Sport trim was priced at Rs.63.63 lakh.
Lexus NX Safety
The Lexus NX 350h hasn’t been tested for safety by any of the organizations. However, it is equipped with a long list of class-leading Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Some of them include blind-spot monitoring, hands-free park assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, etc.
Lexus NX Engine
The new Lexus NX SUV will come powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine connected to an electric motor. Combined, the unit makes 244 hp. It is paired with a CVT transmission that delivers power to wheels through FWD and AWD drivetrains. As per Lexus, the car can go up to 55 km in electric mode.
Lexus NX Exterior
The upcoming SUV is exemplary in terms of styling. It has a distinct Lexus grille, a new set of LED headlights and LED daytime lights. It is 20 mm longer and wider than the previous model, at 4,660 mm and 1,865 mm. The rear of the model has an LED light bar conjoining with the tail lamps. The model drives on new 20-inch alloy wheels.
Lexus NX Interior & Tech
There are some significant changes made to the cabin of the Lexus NX 350h. It has a central console, heads up display, a new dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, climate control and a 14-inch infotainment display. The concept of the Lexus Tazuna incorporates its controls and display. The front seats are power-adjustable and ventilated too. The new steering has a compact 7-inch instrument panel behind it. The standard variant will have a 9.8-inch touchscreen display at the centre of the dash.
Some of the new updated features include a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate. Features like automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and a 10-speaker music system are also available.
The NX 350h is expected to be the most affordable model that Lexus is offering in the market. The Lexus NX 350h is competing with models like the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Volvo XC60.
