Audi India Launched the 2021 facelifted Q5 and A4 premium earlier. Now, Audi has commenced the production of the new Q7 facelift at Volkswagen Group’s manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

The German automaker will launch the facelifted version of the SUV in January 2022. The previous version of the Q7 had to be discontinued in the country due to the arrival of new BS6 emission norms.
The upcoming Q7 gets multiple updates both inside and outside the car. However, the new Q7 will come as a petrol-only model in the country. It competes against the Mercedes GLE, BMW X5 and Volvo XC90. Here’s what we know about the 2022 Audi Q7 facelift.

1. Exterior and interior
The new Q7 comes with a large octagonal grille with vertical chrome slats, New LED headlamps with the new signature DRLs and larger sportier bumpers. Other design updates are a new sleek LED taillamp, 19-inch alloy wheels, and matte black claddings around the vehicle.
Inside the cabin, the Q7 has received multiple updates. The car will come in a 7-seater configuration. The controls and displays are fully digital with 3 digital screens. A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.6-inch screen for climate control and other vehicle controls, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features of the Q7 include the panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, Bang and Olufsen audio system, power tailgate, and optional head-up display. Furthermore, safety features in the Q7 facelift are 360-camera and park assist with park aid plus, driver assistance tour pack, advanced warning system, and blind-spot assistance.
2. Powertrain
The upcoming Q7 will be a petrol-only model in India. The SUV gets its power from a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine. this motor can produce 340hp and 500Nm of torque. The engine comes with an integrated 48V mild-hybrid electrical system. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is available as a transmission option.
