BMW is readying up for the much-awaited launch of its EVs in India. The automaker revealed that the new BMW iX EV scored 5 stars in the Euro NCAP safety test. Also, the carmaker is going to officially reveal the all-electric SUV next week. Here’s more information about the upcoming iX.

The BMW iX is Will be the brand’s first all-electric model to reach the Indian shores. The Car has successfully scored a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test. In fact. the iX is one of the safest cars to be built currently. The BEV scored a 91% rating in adult occupancy and an 87% safety rating for child occupancy. Furthermore, the car scored an 81% safety rating in safety assist systems in Euro NCAP safety tests.
BMW will soon launch the iX in the Indian market. This new achievement will surely add to the value and demand of the car.
BMW iX Exterior and Interior styling.
The all-electric SUV comes with a completely new design styling. At the front, the car gets new sleek aggressive LED headlamps. The huge kidney grille is fully covered and has a parametric design on it. On both sides of the bumper are two vertical air intakes with glossy black accents. The sculpted bonnet cannot be opened and the BMW logo doubles as a cover for washer fluid inlet.
The car comes with a Panoramic sunroof, futuristic alloy wheels, frameless doors, and copper trims on the side profile. The rear profile of the car looks modest. Moreover, the sleek led taillight has a fading gradient on the edges. The car also gets a rear spoiler and a glossy black lining that follows its way to the rear bumper from the sides.
The BMW ix has a luxurious cabin. The dashboard is fully covered with leather. The ac vents are placed beneath a massive 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch infotainment system. The seats come with a quilted pattern. Other features inside the iX are a hexagonal steering wheel, crystal knobs, and gear shifters, and 2 USB c ports behind the front seats.
Powertrain
The BMW iX will be available in a single dual-motor variant. The 71 kWh (76.6 kWh gross energy) battery pack and two electric motors can produce 322 bhp and 630 Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, the car can provide a range of 425 km per charge. The company also claims that the iX can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 6.1 seconds.
BMW will launch the iX electric vehicle on the 13th of December. we will have to wait till then to get detailed information about the features and prices of the vehicle.
