BMW India is starting this brand new year with the launch of the new X3 facelift. The German automaker has already started taking in bookings for the same and will launch the X3 facelift on January 20th. The India-spec model will come with all the styling and technical features seen in the global model. More details about the BMW X3 facelift is given below:

BMW X3 facelift: Exterior Styling Updates

The overall design of the X3 looks similar to the previous model. The SUV delivers the look and feel of a premium offroader ready to take all kinds of terrains. The new X3 facelift will feature minor design changes. Furthermore, the SUV will come with a larger kidney grille and revised LED headlamps.

At the rear, the X3 gets sleek taillamps and a new updated rear bumper and new chrome exhaust tips. Other styling elements include aluminium finish window lines and roof rails. BMW also offers its consumer the option of 20-inch M light-alloy wheels worth ₹2 lakh.

Inside the cabin, the X3 comes with a revised center console like the ones seen in the 4 series. The new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system stands tall above the horizontal aircon vents with silver borders. 

Other technical features include a fully digital instrument cluster and updated switchgear. The dual-tone interior comes with black panels and seats with brown leather upholstery that creates a luxurious feel to the interior. Moreover, BMW X3 also gets features such as Panoramic Sunroof, and Harman Kardon Surround sound system. 

Powertrain

The X3 carries forward the same powertrain system from the outgoing model. In other words, the SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol or turbo diesel engine. BMWs xDrive all-wheel-drive system will also be used in the powertrain system of the new X3 facelift. However, the 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engines seen on the global variants will not be used in the India spec model. 

The new X3 will rival premium SUVs such as Mercedes Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Landrover Discovery, and Volvo XC60. we are expecting the BMW X3 facelift to come with a base price of ₹55lakhs and goes north to ₹70 lakhs
