Hyundai has finally announced its N performance brand in India, with the i20 N Line being the first model to make it to our shores. The Hyundai i20 N Line looks sportier inside and out thanks to a sportier suspension and exhaust system.
Along with the launch, Hyundai has also opened pre-orders for the i20 N Line in India. Customers can book a car online or from Hyundai dealers for Rs 25,000. Prices may be announced in September.
While the i20 N Line launches the Hyundai Performance N brand in India, it should be noted that the N Line models only get sportier tuning and improved aesthetics and should not be confused with sedans. Full N is much more powerful and performance-oriented.
Hyundai i2O N Line: Exterior
The most striking feature of the N Line models is their sportier appearance. To this end, the front end of the Hyundai i20 N Line has a sporty two-tone bumper with recessed fog lights and sporty red accents, a sporty radiator grille with a checkered flag-inspired design, front bulkhead and grille. N Line logo.
At first glance, the i20 N Line stands out for its new 16-inch alloy wheel design. It also has side sills with red accents and red front brake calipers. At the rear, the i20 N Line has a sportier bumper with a protruding diffuser and wire tailpipe, a rear spoiler with side flaps, and a dark chrome trim connecting the two taillights.
The I20 N Line is available in four monochromatic Thunder Blue (new and exclusive), Fiery Red, Titan Gray and Polar White, and two two-tone Thunder Blue with a phantom black roof and Fiery Red with a phantom black roof.
Hyundia i20 N Line: Interior & Features
The overall layout of the dashboard is very similar to that of a standard car. However, the all-black interior has been combined with red accents and red exterior lighting. It also features a new faux leather N-logo plaid flag design.
In terms of features, the i20 N Line carries all the hardware of the standard i20. Cars equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, cruise control, automatic climate control, single-panel sunroof, 7-speaker Bose audio system and many others.
The i20 N Line also gets new voice recognition features along with an updated Bluelink app with 16 free map updates over the air. Safety features include 6 airbags, TPMS, rear-view parking camera, automatic high beam, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stabilization system (VSC), hill descent control (HAC) and more.
Hyundai i20 N Line: Price in India
The i20 N Line is expected to launch in September and will be the new premium model in the i20 series. The range is currently Rs 11.40 (Showroom, Delhi) for the turbo DCT Asta (O) variant.
