The Kia Seltos mid-size SUV was India’s third best-selling passenger vehicle, with 9,583 units sold in September 2020, up from 9,079 units in September 2020. It even surpassed the Hyundai Creta as the best-selling SUV in the country for September 2021, outselling it by a substantial margin.

Altroz, on the other hand, saw a 3% drop in sales to 5,772 units, compared to 5,952 units sold in the same month the previous year. Tata will be hoping for even higher sales in the coming months with the debut of the Punch compact SUV.

Honda has also blamed a supply bottleneck on a semiconductor issue, which has resulted in a drop in sales.
