Over the recent years, there has been a major shift of interest towards SUVs and hatchbacks by automobile buyers. As each day goes by, SUVs are extended across many different price points. This motivates automakers in the country to expand their sub 4 meter compact SUVs lineup more rapidly.

One of the main reasons for the focus on these SUVs is their appeal in size. The grip on the road is also provided by higher ground clearance. It also has larger and wider wheels, with the ability to handle Indian road conditions. These SUVs also come with a set of safety equipment. Last month, the sales report of the ten most profitable sub 4 meter SUVs ranged at 49,574 units. Which is a downfall of 9.62% over 54,850 units. It also displayed an MoM degrowth of 11.77% over 56,187 units sold in January 2022.
