The new facelift is almost Rs. 50,000 to 70,000 more expensive when compared to the current model. However, the new model comes equipped with multiple new features including a larger battery pack.
On the other hand, the Nexon EV comes at a much more affordable price range. Nexon EV’s compact size, small battery pack help the automaker make this car cheaper. MG ZS EV vs Tata Nexon EV: Powertrain
The 2022 ZS EV generates a total power output of 176 hp. This is 33 hp more powerful when compared to the outgoing model. The new 50.3 kWh battery pack helps in delivering 461 km of range in a single charge. However, Tata is way behind the MG ZS when it comes to power and range. The Nexon has a total power output of 129 hp and provides 312 km of range in a single charge. It gets a smaller 30.2 kWh battery pack. However, we expect Tata to launch a model with a larger 40 kWh battery pack sometime soon. Moreover, both vehicles use single-speed automatic transmission.

Tata Nexon EV gets a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system by Harman. Moreover, the sound system comprises 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. Other features include a projector headlamp, auto climate control, LED DRLs, keyless entry, and button start. Moreover, both cars have a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating.
