Hyundai is now looking to introduce Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for most of the cars from this year. The kit has functions like Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Driver Drowsiness Detection, Road Sign Warning and much more.

Hyundai’s safety plans for India
Besides the ADAS technology, Hyundai is also updating the safety features of their cars. Their cars will have 6 airbags, ISOFIX child mount seats, blind-spot warning, electronic stability control (ESC) and more. It also has other features like cruise control, emergency braking and lane-keep assist. Only the Mahindra XUV 700 and MG Astor are currently offering ADAS technology. Hyundai is also working on the facelift of the Venue which will launch by mid-2022.
According to its latest media report, Hyundai is expected to introduce ADAS across its premium model lineup towards the end of this year. Hyundai’s first car to receive the ADAS feature will be the Tucson. With the addition of the latest safety tech and the ADAS, Hyundai’s models are expected to get slightly costlier.
