News: More than 5,500 bookings within a month
The launch of the all-new Mahindra Bolero Neo SUV has created great hype among auto enthusiasts. An updated and close to identical TUV300 SUV, Mahindra Bolero Neo has already received an overwhelming response by completing more than 5500 bookings in more than one month.
Updated design features
Starting with it’s design, the appearance is almost indifferentiable from the TUV300. The front grille, headlights, and side and rear profiles look very similar, but slightly different. The model also has square-shaped headlamps with LED daytime running lights. Apart from these basic design features, other elements include 15-inch alloy wheels, a larger air dam, fog lights and a 6-slat grille with chrome inserts.
The side profile of the car comes with black cladding. There is also significant elegance in it’s tailgate-mounted spare wheel with an X-shaped cover. The model will be available in a wide selection of six colours – Napoli Black, Highway Red, Pearl White, Majestic Silver, Rocky Beige and Diamond White.
As for seating capacity, Mahindra Bolero Neo comes with a seven-person seating arrangement. The black and beige colour theme inside the cabin adds up to the grandeur of this classy car. Other interior features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-tone upholstery, BlueSense app, cruise control and height-adjustable driver seat. The safety setup for the model is also reassuring, with features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBS, rear parking assist etc
Power and pace features
The Mahindra Bolero Neo is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder mHawk diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine produces 100 hp power and 260 Nm torque. Automatic transmission for the model is expected at a later time. Naturally, it would receive an automatic gearbox.
