The new facelifted Jaguar XF has quietly entered the Indian automobile market. Jaguar has replaced the prestige trim with a new sporty Dynamic trim. The diesel engine that was discontinued due to BS6 emission norms has made a return with the new facelifted model.
Jaguar XF 2021: Engine and Transmission
Jaguar XF is now available in 2 engine variants, a 2.0-litre diesel engine that can churn out 201bhp and 430Nm torque. New XF comes with a petrol engine option that can produce 247bhp and 365Nm of torque. Both engine variants are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar XF 2021: Exterior and Interior Styling
The Facelift edition of the Jaguar Xf comes with the same body styling with minimal design tweaks. The front grille is now larger and comes with a chrome studded pattern. Led headlamps are now more aggressive with the addition of J-shaped DRLs. Updates have been made to the front and rear bumpers with larger air inlets for the massive engine under the hood. The new Xf also gets redesigned 10 spoke alloy wheels.
The 11.4-inch infotainment system is one of the main highlights of the updated interior. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Another change is the leather-wrapped gear shifter with dual stripe stitching through the center. other updates include- new steering wheel, a Modernized digital instrument cluster, and 10-color ambient lighting.
The new facelifted XF is competitively priced to compete against BMW 5 Series, Mercedes Benz E-Class, Volvo S90, and Audi A6.
Gasoline Powered R -dynamic S variant is priced at Rs.71.6 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) and the Diesel R-Dynamic S variant is priced at Rs. 76 lakhs.
Along with the Jaguar XF, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has updated the Range Rover SUV. After a decade, JLR has introduced the fifth iteration of the Range Rover SUV. Uveiled today, the Range Rover SUV is launched in two variants, Long wheelbase (LWB) and Short wheelbase (SWB). Prominant changes are focused on the techinal front and the SUV gets 5 different engine options.
