TO IGNITE ITS BOLD TRANSFORMATION FOR THE FUTURE, KIA RELEASES A NEW LOGO AND A GLOBAL BRAND SLOGAN.
Kia’s new corporate logo and worldwide brand motto, which represent the automaker’s radical reinvention and all-new brand purpose, were unveiled on January 6, 2021. Kia’s intentions to build a leadership position in the future mobility sector by redesigning practically every aspect of its operations are reflected in the launch of the new logo.
The logo represents Kia’s new brand purpose and the values it intends to deliver to customers through future goods, services, and experiences. Kia’s new logo is designed to look like a handwritten signature, reinforcing the brand’s promise. The logo’s symmetrical symmetry shows confidence while the logo’s rhythmical, unbroken line conveys Kia’s commitment to bringing moments of inspiration. The logo’s rising gestures represent Kia’s aspirations for the brand and, more significantly, what it has to offer customers.

The new logo debuted in the skies over Incheon, Korea, amid a world-record-breaking firework spectacular. Hundreds of pyrotechnics were launched by 303 pyrodrones in a synchronised creative show, lighting and honouring Kia’s fresh beginning. On January 15, Kia announced a new brand purpose and strategy.
Kia also unveiled its new worldwide brand motto, “Movement that inspires,” in addition to a brand new logo. Details on Kia’s new brand strategy, including brand purpose and philosophy, as well as applicability to Kia’s future product line-up, will be disclosed during the digital “New Kia Brand Showcase.” This will take place on January 15 at 01:00 AM CET. Following the release of Kia’s long-term business strategy, Plan S, in 2020, the new logo was unveiled. Kia’s ambition under Plan S is to become the world’s leading automobile manufacturer, among other things. This is aimed at popularising electric vehicles and delivering a diverse variety of mobility services that are designed to match the needs and preferences of individuals and local markets.
