Lamborghini has released another teaser image, this time showing the front fascia of the upcoming new Countach. The new generation Countach will bring the iconic Lamborghini supercar back to life. The Countach was manufactured from 1974 to 1990. The new Lamborghini Countach will be very similar to the original model in terms of design.
In the most recent set of teaser images, the Italian supercar manufacturer teased the new Countach’s nose, the transparent rear profile, and the black fuel filler cap.
Design of the new Countach
The new Countach is expected to combine retro styling with cutting-edge technology. The car’s sharp nose is depicted in one image, with lowercase Countach lettering positioned on the slim grille. There’s a large lower opening in the grille, as well as a sleek and deep front splitter.
Another image is taken from the back. It reveals the engine bay, which houses the V12 engine with gold accents. The V12 engine in the new Lamborghini Countach is expected to have a hybrid system. However, nothing about the engine’s specifications has been confirmed by the automaker.
The engine air intake is visible behind the cockpit in the third image. It takes on a squarish shape similar to that of the original Countach. There’s also a black retro-looking black fuel filler cap.
So far, this is the only teaser image that gives us an idea of how the car will look. The upcoming new generation Countach is expected to look similar to the original model. However, there will undoubtedly be modern Lamborghini design elements.
