Having sold 10 lakh Bolero’s since its launch, Mahindra has set a new milestone and is aiming for more. The Bolero has been available in India for over 20 years and is one of Mahindra’s best selling models. The introduction of the facelifted version of the car with added safety features should increase its market appeal. In accordance with the latest safety regulations, Mahindra has launched the 2022 updated version of its Bolero SUV in India with dual airbags. It is available in three variants: B4, B6 and B6 Opt.

What powers the Mahindra Bolero?
The Mahindra Bolero is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5 litre 3 cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine producing a maximum power of 75hp and a maximum torque of 210Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels.
The SUVs Interior
The new SUV has a spacious cabin with a wood-look dashboard, keyless entry, manual air conditioning and a power steering wheel. It houses a semi-digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth-enabled audio system with AUX and USB connectivity. The two front airbags, ABS, speed warning, EBD and rear parking sensors will ensure passenger safety.

In India, the prices of Mahindra Bolero have increased by 14k to 16k rupees. Now it starts at Rs. 8.85 lakh for the B4 model and goes up to Rs. 9.86 lakh for the B6 Opt variant. Competition for the Bolero includes Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ertiga.
