The new Celerio is slightly bigger when compared to its predecessor. The hatchback is 3695mm long,1655mm wide, and 1555mm tall. this new dimensional change gives Celerio mode shoulder room and head space inside the car. 

On the other hand, Kwid is 3731mm long,1579mm wide, and 1490mm tall. Kwid is the longest car here, the long body makes room for ample leg space inside the car.

The new Celerio showcases Maruti’s 3D organic sculpted aesthetics. The car comes with a new chrome grille with Suzuki branding in the center. LED headlamps, New bumpers, flared wheel arches, 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome trims, and updated tail lamps are other design elements on the exterior.

The Kwid gets a futuristic and bold design, it has a completely new optical assembly, with the upper segment dedicated to LED DRLs, and the lower part is occupied by the LED headlamps. The Kwid gets a u-shaped grille with a chrome lining at the top. Also, the Matte accents on the wheel arches and bumpers give the Kwid a rugged look.

Interior and Features

Inside the cabin, the Celerio offers a new sculpted dashboard and a 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Smartplay studio and smartphone navigation. Moreover, 24 touchpoints inside the car are now digital. An analog instrument cluster with a digital tachometer, 6 bottle holders, front and rear headrests, power steering, accessory socket, manual air-conditioning vents, are other features offered.  Also, the Celerio has a boot space capacity of 313 liters.

The Renault Kwid gets a dual-tone theme in its interior. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with colorful lining sits in the center of the dashboard. circular AC vents, Chrome HVAC control panel and LED Digital instrument cluster are a few features inside the Kwid.

Powertrain

 Maruti Celerio comes with a new 1.0 liter K-10c engine option. The Petrol motor can produce 65hp and 89Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox is available as a transmission option. Furthermore, the Celerio provides the best in class mileage of 26.6kmpl, this hatchback is the most fuel-efficient car in India.

Renault Kwid is available in two different engine variants. The first one is an 800ccengine that produces 54 hp and 72 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is provided as a transmission. the second larger gasoline engine is 1.0-litre and generates 67 hp and 91 Nm torque. This engine is available in a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT transmission setup.

Pricing

The all-new Celerio is priced between 4.99 lakh to 6.94 lakh. Whereas, the Renault Kwid is priced between Rs 4.11 lakh – Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). In fact, the Kwid is the cheapest car available in its segment. 

the new Celerio is a great choice when it comes to modern technology and fuel efficiency. However, Renault Kwid has a better-looking design and is a much affordable car.
