WagonR Xtra Edition, a special edition of the WagonR, appears to have been launched in India by Maruti Suzuki.
We say appears since there has been no official communication from the automaker about this new variation of the popular Maruti hatchback car in India, and no information about it is available on the official website. Regardless, photographs of the aforementioned Maruti Suzuki WagonR Xtra special edition vehicle have surfaced on the internet, implying that it is true. Anyway, back to the new limited edition model in question: this kid comes with a slew of extra extras. That’s about all there is to it. The special edition equipment, which is only available on the VXi type of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, will set you back an extra 23,000.
Available trims for the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Xtra
In addition to the normal features of the VXi trim, the new limited edition model includes chrome garnish for the front grille and number plate, bumper protectors, side skirts, and wheel arch cladding, among other things. Additional features include a trunk organiser, car charging extender, and an air inflator on the inside.
In terms of the engine, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Xtra receives no changes; the Xtra edition, like the basic model, comes with a choice of two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 67 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 90 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm. A 1.2-litre engine with 82 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4,200 rpm is the other choice. Both engines come with the same transmission choices: a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission.
