Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was one of the best-selling compact SUVs when it was first launched in 2016.
The automaker is all set to roll out an updated version of the Brezza to compete against the new entrants in the segment. The Model started to look outdated as Cars like Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue came with new and improved designs and features.
Maruti is planning to launch the vehicle around the first half of 2022.

The camouflaged test vehicle that was spotted does not reveal much about the production model. Doors and roof look identical to the current variant, however, all other exterior parts and panels like the grille, front and rear bumpers are expected to get design updates. The overall design looks a bit muscular compared to the previous version.
Vitara Brezza Next-Gen: Interior and Tech
While we lack information about the interior in the new Brezza, we expect it to have similar technologies like its rivals. The new Brezza is assumed to come with an updated dashboard and a new touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, Apple car play, and android auto connectivity, etc.
The new model will also include a factory-fitted electric sunroof, wireless charging, and a new air conditioning system.
Engine and transmission
Next-generation Vitara Brezza will come with a 1.5litre petrol engine with an SHVS mild hybrid system. This new upgraded 48V hybrid setup will improve the drivability and efficiency of the vehicle.
The new engine can churn out 103bhp and 138Nm of torque and will be paired to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The new model will come with an optional factory-fitted CNG kit.
The CNG-powered motor will generate 91bhp and 122Nm of torque. It is expected to come with a 5-speed manual transmission.
This is all the information available about the next-gen Vitara Brezza at the moment. We can expect an official reveal from Maruti anytime soon.
