Mclaren had a small presence in India via a few imports. The British supercar has now made it officially to India. On the website earlier India was not shown in the regions, but now India is listed on their website. Mclaren will have a dealership located in Mumbai and has Infinity group as dealer partner and after-sales support. The customers can also visit the company website to design the car spec from their homes and submit their choice. 

Mclaren has confirmed that they will initially launch 3 cars in India, Mclaren 720S coupe, 720s Spider and the Mclaren GT. Mclaren Artura could be announced later in India. The prices have been confirmed and the Mclaren GT will be the most affordable Mclaren in India, priced at Rs. 3.72 Crore ex-showroom. 

Mclaren GT 

The Mclaren GT will be an entry-level car priced at Rs. 3.72 crore ex-showroom. This price is before your personalization, yes you can personalize your Mclaren according to your taste. There is also a preconfigured add-on package that is offered by Mclaren to the GT which costs an additional Rs. 29.77 lakh. This includes parking sensors, rear camera, vehicle lifting and more. 

The GT is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged petrol engine that makes max power of 612bhp and peak torque of 630Nm mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has a top speed of 326km/hr and 0-100km/hr in 3.2s. The Mclaren GT will rival the Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Bentley Continental GT.   

Mclaren 720S Coupe and 720S Spider

The Mclaren 720S Coupe will be priced at Rs. 4.65 crore ex-showroom and the 720S Spider is priced at Rs. 5.04 crore ex-showroom. Similar to the GT you can personalize your 720S or you get a preconfigured package from Mclaren which will cost an additional Rs. 43.31 lakh. This add-on will include Bowers and Wilkins 12 speakers audio system, parking sensors, rearview camera, front suspension lift and more.  

The 720S Coupe and the Spider get the same engine, a 4.0L V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This engine makes a peak power and torque of 710bhp and 770nm respectively. The 720S makes a 0-100km/hr with an impressive time of 2.9s flat. The rivals for the Mclaren 720S are the Lamborghini Hurancan and the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
