Bentley’s are known for their luxurious cars and the bespoke detailing they can provide. A US customer has requested Bentley’s Mulliner design team to design a space-themed Bentayga Speed. Bentley Bentayga Speed Space Edition: Engine
There is no update for the Bentayga Speed Space Edition. The regular 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine churns out 626 hp and 900 Nm of peak torque. Even though it’s a regular engine it does not shy away from the performance, it can go from 0-100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 306 kmph. This is an impressive figure for an SUV weighing over 2.5 tonnes. An 8-speed automatic gearbox powers all four wheels.
Bentley Bentayga Speed Space Edition
There are no design changes on the Space Edition. However, bespoke customization can be seen all over the car. The body colour is a greenish-grey cypress shade that echoes the shade of the moon’s surface. It was also used on the first-gen Continental GT back in 2003. The colour scheme looks good when the sun is up, but it is the best when a bright light reflects off the surface at the night. You can observe orange accents on the lower part of the body that is inspired by the comet’s dust trails.
The orange flame accents are carried over to the interior as well. You can see it on the steering wheel, gear knob and the upholstery stitching including Bentley’s logo on the headrest. And the doorsills depicts our solar system which is also illuminated.
Bentley Bentayga price
Bentley India only offers the Bentayga V8 and S trims in India. The starting price of a Bentley Bentayga in India is Rs. 4.1 crore ex-showroom. The price will vary depending on individual customization. Their in-house bespoke customization also known as the Mulliner team is capable of inducing anything a customer wishes to have in their Bentley.
Bentley has started their ‘Beyond 100’ initiative for a carbon-neutral future. They aim to have a fully electric lineup within the next 8 years. Their first all-electric luxury SUV will roll out in 2025.
