Nissan Magnite: What do we know?
The Magnite made the news for getting a 4-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. This model also achieved the same rating the previous year in the ASEAN NCAP test. Nissan had also announced that the SUV got cumulative bookings of more than 1 lakh from both international and domestic markets.
Nissan India offers many incentives to their customers and a subscription plan for the Magnite SUV. This helps customers to own the vehicle with no down payment, zero insurance and maintenance cost as well. However, the subscription plan is only available in select cities such as Delhi, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Ever since the launch of the Magnite, the model has changed the fortune of Nissan in the domestic market this year. Within a year after launch, the domestic bookings for the car was 78,000. The deliveries also crossed the 30,000 unit mark. The pricing of the SUV is not too high and it has been favourable to the brand. The model is also very spacious, comfortable and offers a good deal.
The price of the Nissan Magnite in the country starts from Rs. 5.76 lakh which is affordable for this segment. The Magnite has rivals from the sub-4m SUV segment including the Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V and the Hyundai Venue.
