The latest Renault Arkana was spotted in India recently during the model testing. Renault has not mentioned Arkana for the Indian market, but they might be prepping its SUV to launch in the country. The Arkana has two platforms, including the current CMF-B and the older BO platform. It is expected to be priced between ₹10 lakhs to ₹20 lakhs.
Renault Arkana Engine and Power
The Renault Arkana is available in two options pertaining to the engine abroad. It has a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine and also a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine is now currently in the Renault Duster and Nissan Kicks and this might be in the Indian version as well. The 1.6-litre petrol engine has E tech Branding, which ensures it gets Renault’s self-charging tech system.

The Arkana has stylish tail lamps and upgraded front DRLs. The rear part of the car is very desirable with the sloping roofline. This resembles the SUV coupes from BMW or the upcoming Mahindra XUV900 coupe.
The length of the Renault Arkhana is 4,545 mm and has a width of 1,820 mm. Its height stands at 1,565 mm with a wheelbase of 2,721 mm. AWD models have a ground clearance of 205 mm whereas FWD variants measure 208 mm. It can be compared to the Duster or the Jeep Compass in terms of its width.

As far as the interior is concerned, the Arkana, which was seen in India, has sportier additions and carbon fibre on the dashboard. Currently, very little is known about the interior of the Arkana. It dubs a 9.3-inch infotainment system that includes features like parking and also safety systems in place. There is a Highway and Traffic Jam system. A Safety Active Emergency braking system along with a lane departure warning is present. It has a lane guard system, a 360-degree camera, and a blind-spot warning. It also has a digital instrument cluster and sound systems of Bose.
The vehicles in its EV mode, i.e E-Tech hybrid will provide 80% driving time in the city with full electric power. This will help in leading to the reduction of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption in urban areas. The imminent launch of the Arkana is giving rise to conjectures in the Indian market.
