The sales report for Feb 2022 is out and we know the progress of each carmaker last month. The top 5 spots were retained by the same makers and it goes like this: Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra and Kia. The majority of the list has experienced a decline in their YoY growth and only a few makers managed to have positive growth.
Now that we know the carmaker’s performance in the month of February, we need to focus on individual cars that topped the sales report in Feb 2022. In this article, we will tell you about the top 10 best selling cars in Feb 2022.
1. Swift (19,202 units)
The best selling car in February this year is the Maruti Swift with a total of 19,202 units sold. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the hatchback is a popular car in the market and has done the same for the company many times over the years. Even though Swift has a decline of 5% in YoY growth it steals the top spot from WagonR.
2. Dzire (17,438 units)

The third podium goes to the Maruti WagonR hatchback for selling 14,669 units in Feb 2022. The WagonR sales have declined compared to the previous months, dropping it to third from first. The MoM growth is a negative 27.8% compared to 20,334 units sold in Jan 2022. Maruti recently launched the 2022 WagonR facelift. This might help WagonR to push up its sales in the coming months.
