Skoda Auto India has published its monthly sales figures for February 2022. The company was happy to show a 50% growth in its month-to-month growth when compared to January 2022. The Czech automaker sold 4,503 units in February, while the closing sales in January 2022 were 3,009 units. Moreover, the company also saw a whopping 428% growth in YoY sales when compared to 853 units sold in February 2021. The automaker was happy to mention the high demand for Kushaq that played a major role in this achievement.

Skoda has made its portfolio in India even more strong by introducing multiple new vehicles in the last year. The automaker added new models including the Kushaq, Kodiaq, Slavia, and new-gen Octavia. This helped the automaker cater to a wider range of customers and increase their sales. All the new models from Skoda got great acceptance from Indians and are selling like hotcakes in the market. The new Slavia will surely take Skoda’s sales numbers to another level.

All-new Skoda Slavia
Slavia was introduced in our market a few months back. However, we were still waiting for the manufacturer to announce the prices for the premium sedan. The Slavia is built on Volkswagen-Skoda partnership MQB A0 IN. Moreover, the Slavia features two different engines, a 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI unit. The former comes at a base price of Rs. 10.69 lakh and goes north till Rs. 15.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, the 1.5-litre variant will be exclusive to high-end models. The manual variant comes at Rs. 16.19 lakh and the automatic version costs Rs. 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
