Skoda is all set to release a mid-life facelift of their compact SUV Skoda Karoq. Skoda recently revealed Design sketches of the upcoming SUV, the Facelift edition is more aggressive and sportier than the existing variant. The Czech automobile manufacturer has released 2 design sketches to point out the Karoq has now undergone a design and technology update. 

Skoda Karoq : Exterior Updates

The new Kaorq comes with an even more unique face. The grille is now wider and vertical slats in a hexagonal design. Underneath the grille is a wide air intake running across the front bumper. The headlamps are edgier and give a sporty feel to the overall design. The redesigned daytime running lights are now made of two separate components each.

On the rear, the Karoq gets a longer spoiler and an updater rear apron. The taillamps are now long and sleek. Indeed, the rear indicator of the stretched-out taillamp overlaps the boot. The ‘Skoda’ lettering replaces the company logo.

Skoda Karoq: Interior and Drivetrain

The 2022 Skoda Karoq will continue to have the same powertrain options as the existing models. The 1.5-Litre TSI motor producing 150bhp and 250Nm of torque coupled to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. However,  the interior and technical features of the facelifted compact SUV will get multiple updates.

The Skoda Karoq comes as a Sub-SUV to the Skoda Kodiaq. The automaker will be launching the new Karoq on 30th November 2021

The Skoda Slavia spied testing in its orange Camo

Skoda Slavia is the manufacturer’s new replacement for the Skoda Rapid. Slavia will rival the likes of Hyundai Verna and Honda City, Maruthi Suzuki Ciaz, etc.

The Skoda will launch the Slavia virtually on November 18th.  The sedan will go on sale from early 2022. With the new spacious interiors, advanced features, and powerful engines, the Slavia will be repositioned as a premium sedan. The prices for the Rapid start at Rs. 7.79Lakhs and goes up to Rs.13.29 Lakhs. Meanwhile, the  Upcoming Slavia will cost around Rs.11 to Rs.15 Lakhs.
