The Skoda Kodiaq facelift
Globally, the Kodiaq facelift was introduced last year. The majority of those updates have been carried over to the Indian spec as well. Skoda has revised the front grille, headlights and the DRLs and front and rear bumper. The side profile remains the same apart from the newly designed alloy wheels.
The cabin retains most of the elements from the predecessor. However, Skoda has updated a few elements such as the two-spoke steering wheel seen in its other models. It gets an 8-inch touchscreen system and a huge 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Along with the stone beige perforated leather seats snd piano-black interiors, it gets LED ambient lighting, 3-zone climate control, Panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and more.
As for safety, Kodiaq is equipped with 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, multi-collision braking, park assist, 360-degree view, Dynamic chassis control and more. The MySKODA connect app opens up a lot of safety options for the customers. It offers real-time speed tracking, geofence, deviation alert, walk to car, device tampering alert, driving behaviour and tow alert.
Skoda has no interest to introduce their cars with diesel engines and is committed to petrol. Hence, the Kodiaq just like its siblings is only offered in a single petrol motor. A 2.0-Litre TSI engine producing 190bhp and 320Nm of peak torque. It is only offered in a 7-speed DSG gearbox and all-wheel drive as standard.
The Kodiaq facelift is offered in 4 different variants: Style, Sportline and L&K priced at ₹34.99 lakh, ₹35.99 lakh and ₹37.49 lakh respectively.
