Tata Motors sold a whopping 39,980 units of cars in the month of February 2022. These numbers show that Tata is moving forward strongly this year. Tata had hit its all-time highest 41,000 units in the previous month. The sturdy sales are good proof of Tata’s growth.

Nexon (12,259 units)
Nexon took the first position in the February sales chart with a total sale of 12,259 units. The model also saw a strong sales growth of 54.61 %. In fact, Nexon contributed over 30% of Tata’s entire vehicle sales for the month of February. It remains to be the best-selling SUV for consecutively two months straight this year.
Punch (9,600 units)
The Punch was Tata’s most recent launch in the Indian market. This is a micro SUV brought to the market as an entry vehicle to the segment. This has created a great demand for the vehicle. Tata sold approximately 9,600 units of Punch in February 2022.
Altroz (6,832 units)
Tata sold 5,011 units of Altroz in February 2022. However, there was a 26% drop in YoY sales which fell from 6,832 units. The automaker is working on launching an automatic variant of Altroz sometime soon. Maybe this will help boost sales for the automaker.
Tiago (4,489 units)
Tata Tiago too saw a significant sales drop. This was mostly due to the close pricing between the Punch and Tiago. The February sales of Tiago fell from 6,787 units to 4,489 units creating a 33% sales decline.
Tigor (4,091 units)
Tigor sales saw a significant rise in sales. The Tigor sales went up from 1,939 units sold in February 2021, to 4,091 units sold in February 2022. The 2,152 unit volume gain created a sales rise of 110% in YoY sales.
Harrier (2,619 units)
Tata Harrier also saw a small rise in sales when compared to the same time last year. Harrier sales went up from 1,030 units to 2,619 units this year. The volume gain of 589 units created a 29% gain in YoY sales.
Safari (1,919 units)
The Tata Safari has been performing strongly in the Indian auto market. Tata sold 1,919 units of Safari in the month of February 2022. The company saw a 12.42% sales rise when compared to 1,707 units sold in February 2021.
