Tata Motors just like its Dark Edition has introduced the Kaziranga Edition to all of its SUVs, including their flagship car, the Safari. These special edition cars come as a tribute to the famous Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Customers can book any of the Kaziranga Edition models at their nearest Tata dealership today.

The Punch and Harrier get 2 variants of the Kaziranga Edition. On the other hand, the Nexon and Safari are offered in 4 different variants each. Every Kaziranga Edition is offered in either mid trims or the top trims depending on the SUV. 

The Punch Kaziranga is offered in Creative and Creative IRA trims whereas the Nexon, Harrier and Safari are offered in XZ+ and XZA+ trims.

Tata Kaziranga Edition: Powertrain 

There are no mechanical updates for any of the Kaziranga Edition SUVs. The respective engines of the standard cars are carried forward. The Punch gets the 1.2-litre Revotron engine, Nexon with the 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engine. Both the Harrier and Safari is equipped with the same 2.0-litre Kryotech turbocharged diesel engine. 

Only the Punch is offered in either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The rest of the 3 SUVs come with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. 

Exterior 

Tata Kaziranga EditionAll 4 Kaziranga Edition SUVs has the same colour scheme and updates on the outside. Starting with the small Rhino mascot on both fenders and the rear windshield. They also get a special Grassland Beige colour scheme with a blacked-out roof, pillars, wheel rims and side-view mirrors. 

Interior and Tech 

Just like the exterior, the interior will also feature a dual-tone treatment. The completely blacked dashboard with the earthy beige upholstery mimics the exterior special colour scheme. All 4 headrests in the SUVs feature the Black Rhino Mascot stitching. Also, the scuff plates on all the cars read ‘Kaziranga’. 

Tata Kaziranga EditionAs for the features, the Punch earns an air purifier and iRa connected car tech. In addition to this, the other 3 SUVs will also get features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charger. 

The Kaziranga Edition 

Tata being the official title sponsor for the Indian Premier League (IPL) from 2022 showcased the Punch Kaziranga Edition during the player auction. This one-off model will be later sold to the highest bidder and the takings will be donated to the Kaziranga National Park for its betterment.
