Tata Motors Launched its all-new micro SUV, the Tata Punch today.
The Tata Punch is based on the HBX concept, showcased by Tata at the 2020 Auto Expo. The punch is a compact SUV positioned below the Tata Nexon and will rival against Compact hatchbacks like – swift, Hyundai grand i10 NIOS, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and Mahindra KUV100.

Tata Punch micro SUV: Safety
Safety is one of the key aspects of The Tata punch. Tata Punch is the third car from the homegrown manufacturer to receive a 5-star global NCAP safety rating. The vehicle scored 16.45 / 17 points for adult safety and 40.89 / 49 points for child occupant safety. The previous models from tata to receive 5 stars were the Tata Altroz and The Tata Nexon. Punch offers dual airbags, a reverse parking camera, ABS with EBD, and traction pro mode.

The new Tata punch is 3827mm long and 1615mm wide, the wheelbase is 2445mm and it has a ground clearance of 187mm.
These dimensions make it possible for the Punch to provide an ample amount of space in the cabin and accommodate 3 adults in the back seat.
As promised by Tata the punch is similar to the HXB concept in terms of aesthetics. Punch has similar form factors like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. The exterior styling of Punch includes LED DRLs, Projector Headlamps, Wraparound LED taillights with tri-arrow patterns, Roof-mounted stop lamp, Black cladding, Neatly sculpted tailgate with company branding, etc.

The interior features provided in the Tata Punch are as follows – A 7-inch infotainment system with apple car play and android auto support. Optional iRA connectivity suite for the high-end variant, automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, and cruise control.
other features included are auto-sensing wipers and auto headlights.
The punch comes with a 1.2-litre Revtron petrol engine, Previously seen in the Altroz and Tiago. It is tuned to produce 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an automatic transmission system is also available.
Pricing
The pricing for Tata punch starts at Rs. 5.49 lakh, and goes up to 9.39 lakh for the top-end version with automatic transmission and iRA pack. (ex-showroom)
The introductory pricing is only valid until December 31, 2021. Tata punch will be sold at an updated pricing from January 1, 2022. The variants and their price goes like this,
Pure MT: Rs 5.49 lakh
Adventure MT: Rs 6.39 lakh
Accomplished MT: Rs 7.29 lakh
Creative: Rs 8.49 lakh
(AMT transmission will cost Rs 60,000 above the respective variants)
