The new Audi RS 5 has been launched in India at a base price of Rs.1.04 crore. The beast-like automobile returns to India in the four-door semblance, in lieu of the two-door model that was on sale earlier in 2018.
RS 5 Sportback 2021 will be added to Audi’s lineup of high-performance sedans in India along with the S5 Sportback and RS7 Sportback launched in March.
Audi RS 5: Exterior and interior
Compared with the two-door model launched in India in 2018, the updated RS5 has a redesigned exterior and two additional doors. The front grille is now larger and has a high-gloss black finish with honeycomb inserts, while the headlights are sharper and use matrix LED technology. The air intake and the special RS bumper has also been redesigned. Sportback is also equipped with frameless doors and 19-inch light-alloy wheels as standard. At the rear, the new LED taillights have been updated, as well as updated diffusers and bumpers.
When it comes to the interior, the overall layout and dashboard layout have remained basically unchanged compared to the previous models. However, the 2021 RS 5 has a completely revised infotainment system. The interior is made of black and gray leather and Alcantara with aluminum trim. As an RS model, Sportback is equipped with stainless steel pedals and RS wear plates on the pedals.
The Audi RS 5 Sportback is available in eight colours – Nardo Grey, Turbo Blue, Tango Red, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green and Daytona Grey.

The model is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Audi’s MMI Navigation Plus and MMI Touch tech, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, a 180W Audi sound system, a three-spoke RS steering wheel with paddle shifters. These features reassures that Audi RS 5 Sportback surely has got the drip.
Safety
In terms of safety, RS 5 Sportback has six airbags, ABS with EBD, descent assistant, ESC, ISOFIX child seat bracket, reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Buyers of S 5 Sportback can also get a 5-year free warranty and 5-year breakdown assistance package provided by Audi.
