More about design and technology

Toyota and Lexus consider that “future electric vehicles should be unique and special”. However, Some of the future EVs will be based on existing models. In fact, some of the concepts share a resemblance to current models in the market, like the Toyota Hilux and Lexus NX. All the other EVs will be new, bespoke models sharing the brand’s new e-TNGA EV platform developed with Subaru.

All vehicles are designed with European and Japanese markets in mind. Toyota targets an efficiency of 125 Wh/km.

The Lexus RZ SUV

The Lexus RZ SUV can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in less than 2 seconds. The SUV can also provide a range of 435 miles (700 km).
