The festive season of 2021 is about to begin, and this is the time of year when the Indian automobile sector will be flooded with new product launches in both the two-wheeler and automobile markets. For this time of year, almost all of the main brands, including Maruti, Mahindra, and Tata, have something planned (Diwali 2021).

This is a list of all the forthcoming vehicles in India that will be released during the festive season.

  • MG Astor

    MG Motor India’s Hyundai Creta/Kia Seltos rival is on the cusp of going on sale in the country. Except for pricing specifics, the company has already released all of the information regarding the new Astor. The SUV is expected to be launched in the mid of October.

  • Volkswagen Taigun

    The all-new Taigun unveiled on the 23rd of September is the newest addition to Volkswagen’s lineup. VW has already commenced the production and pre-booking of the SUV prior to its unveiling. VW will start delivering the car during the festive season in October. A 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI petrol engine and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine are available in the Volkswagen Taigun. The latter can create 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, while the former can only deliver 115bhp and 175Nm of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with options for a six-speed torque converter automatic and a seven-speed DSG transmission.

  • Tata Punch

    In India, the Safari maker has already unveiled the new Punch micro-SUV. It will be a brand-new vehicle with which Tata hopes to compete with automobiles like the Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100 in terms of sales. The price of the Punch will be released when the car is unveiled on the 4th of October (Rumoured).

  • Force Gurkha

    Mahindra Thar’s counterpart, the New-gen Force Gurkha, was launched today (27th September). Force has already released all of the data about the new car, which includes massive improvements for 2021. The Offroader can now be booked on their official website.

  • Mahindra XUV700

    Mahindra has announced that reservations for the new XUV700 will begin soon in India. Introduced on August 14, 2021, XUV700 will be available in five-seat and seven-seat configurations. A 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine are available in the new Mahindra XUV700. The former can generate 197bhp and 380Nm of torque, whereas the latter can generate 182bhp and 420Nm of torque (450Nm in AT variants).
