The new Vision EQXX from Mercedes Benz proves that the German automaker has taken electrification and sustainability quite seriously. The Mercedes EQS SUV provides a range of 400+ miles on a single charge. The company claims that the all-new vision EQXX can achieve a range of 1000 km in a single charge. That means you can travel from Bengaluru to Mumbai on a single charge.

More about the Vision EQXX

Mercedes achieved the 1000km range milestone by rethinking the technical and design elements of the entire vehicle. Moreover, the EQXX does not come with a huge battery pack to provide a massive range. The cutting-edge drive train and the entire vehicle are made of lightweight and sustainable materials.

In fact, the Mercedes Vision EQXX weighs just 1750Kgs.

The EQXX depicts the future of electric cars. Furthermore, the car is the most efficient Mercedes-Benz ever built with an exceptional energy consumption of less than 10 kWh per 100 kilometres.

Mercedes Vision EQXXThe EQXX comes in an organic teardrop-shaped design which helps in reducing drag and enhancing aerodynamics. Also, the wheels are made of magnesium and the CFRP doors make the vehicle even more light.

The Interior styling is realistic and production-ready. The futuristic dashboard is dominated by a huge 47.5 inch 8K touch screen. It comes equipped with an advanced AI assistance system and real-time 3D navigation.

Energy Wizard

The car can achieve astonishing energy efficiency with an energy consumption of less than 10kWh per 100km.

Range Buster

The car can achieve a mileage of 1,000 km (over 620 miles) on a single charge on public roads.

Energy Density

Through expert engineering and Formula 1 thinking, the battery chemists have concentrated the energy of the EQS into the size of a compact car. The VISION EQXX battery pack contains almost 100 kWh of energy, but has 50% less volume and is 30% lighter than the pack already benchmarked in EQS.

Aero Champ

The exquisite Exterior design and aerodynamics deliver a benchmark drag coefficient of cd 0.17.

Sustainable Materials

Innovative recycled and plant-based materials used in the EQXX remove waste from landfills and also help in reducing the carbon footprint.

The Vision EQXX is a breakthrough in BEV development. Although, the EQXX is a concept car from Mercedes. The Automaker has said that unlike other concept models from the company, the EQXX will make it to the market shortly. We can expect to see the Vision EQXX on the road by the end of 2022.
